Wolff laying low

Kevin Wolff’s name is still on the ballot for Chapel Hill mayor, but you won’t see him around campaigning.

Steve Hill, his former campaign manager, said that Wolff decided not to campaign today, but did encourage the other candidates to be visible in the town.

He said he also will not take down campaign signs for Election Day, on the behest of his supporters.

Wolff removed himself from the race after deciding that he didn’t want to disrupt the vote, Hill said.

"He thought about putting out more signs," Hill said. "But he'll just stay out of the race. It's between Matt (Czajkowski) and Mark (Kleinschmidt)."
